It was a lucky shot, from the plane coming in to land at Beijing at dusk. You can see the EXIF at http://www.grandpoohbah.net/Grandpoohbah/images/China%20Aug%202006/slides/005%20Inner%20Mongolia.html, no filters were used. In general I only use a uv filter, very occasionally there is a polarizing one.
